Just graduating from college with my associate's degree, I had a vision for my future and quite a bit of time on my hands. I had just been accepted into my dream art school and was starting to get an idea of what pathway I wanted to specialize in with my BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts).

 

I'm currently venturing into the art and culture of the goth community, but I have always gone through many phases of interests and art in my life. This includes Jim Henson creations, Claymation, numerous genres of music, fashion, theater, and more! Knowing I want to create an art business, where do I start? Where do I specialize?

 

The amazing thing about the art school is that even if I struggle to decide, it is still incredibly flexible. This made me redirect my thinking, could I create with the changing phases of life and still be satisfied? I believe the answer is yes, and so I am dipping my toes into the waters of a small business, hoping to fulfill the goal of sharing my beliefs and interests to others in many forms of whimsical art!
